Maroparque is a rescue and recovery center for wild and endangered species, they devote all their time to recover animals from an environment that is not their habitat and try to ensure that animals are as far as possible in optimal conditions for living . Animal trafficking is up to date and is one of the main causes that many centers like this have to fight. Right now they have more than 200 animals rescued from individuals who, after being acquired, try to get rid of them. Today the Maroparque has no aid or subsidies of any kind.
